Julie Young

Julie Young returns as the head coach of the Villanova women�?�¢??s lacrosse team for her seventh season, after having a breakout season in 2015.

The 2015 season was one of many firsts for the program; the team qualified for the BIG EAST Tournament, senior Jackie Froccaro was named BIG EAST Attacker of the Year, and four players during 2015 were named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

Froccaro finished the 2015 season with 49 goals, this is fourth most in a season in program history. She also has 99 goals in her three completed seasons so far at Villanova to tie her for seventh overall.

Jackie Cifarelli

Jackie Cifarelli, a 2015 graduate from the Ohio State University, had a very successful playing career in her four years at the university. She left the program as the all-time assists leader, and finished second in points. She is also third all-time in assists in NCAA history. Her individual awards also included a three-time IWLCA Regional All-American and a two-time American Lacrosse Conference All-Conference Team selection. Once Ohio State moved to the Big Ten, she was selected to the inaugural 2015 All-Big Ten Conference team and 2015 All-Big Ten Tournament team.

In the summer of 2015, she began her assistant coaching career at Drexel University. In her two years at Drexel, she specialized in offensive game planning, helping increase the teams goals per game, assists per game and draw controls per game. She also helped with other duties such as creating practice plans, scouting reports, breaking down film, coordinating team travel and recruiting.

Halle Majorana

Halle Majorana, a 2016 graduate from Syracuse University, had a very successful collegiate lacrosse career. She started at the University of Maryland before transferring to Syracuse. While playing at Syracuse, Majorana earned two first team All-ACC selections, an All-New England Region first team selection and an All-ACC Tournament team selection. She also was selected as an IWLCA All-American and added an ACC Championship to her resume in 2015. Following her collegiate career, she played semi-professionally for the Long Island Sound and helped win the inaugural United Womens Lacrosse League championship.

In September of 2016, she joined the Syracuse coaching staff as volunteer coach. In her time with Syracuse, she helped with various tasks such as developing team practice plans, breaking down film, running their social media accounts and helping organize and run camps and clinics. She also assisted the head coach with the offensive game plans and player development. Other coaching experience includes coaching a multiple lacrosse camps, highlighted by the Nike Cup Camp in July of 2015.

Kate Goldstein

Goldstein joined the Villanova Women's Lacrosse program for the 2018 season as a volunteer assistant coach, specializing in helping the goalkeepers and defense. Previously, she was a graduate assistant at Georgetown, receiving her Master's Degree in sporting management. She was a part of the coaching staff that helped the Hoyas to their 2015 BIG EAST regular season Co-Championship with a 6-1 conference record. She is also a former goalkeeper of the Israeli National Team and a current assistant coach for the Israeli National Team. As the defensive coordinator for the 2017 World Cup team, she helped Israel to a sixth place finish in the World, where they knocked Wales out of the top five for the first time ever. She was a four-year letterwinner at McDaniel College, starting three years in net. Goldstein graduated in May 2014 with a bachelor's degree in business administration and management as well as a minor in sports administration.
